You can export your reports to save, share, or continue working with the data outside the platform.
Depending on your report and workspace, you may be able to export reports in different formats, including PDF, Excel, and CSV.
The best format depends on how you plan to use the exported report.

Choose the Right Format
Use PDF when you need a presentation-ready version of your report.

PDF preserves the report's layout and formatting, making it the best option when visual presentation is important.

Excel is useful for:
- Reviewing individual values
- Performing additional calculations
- Creating your own analysis
- Working with data in spreadsheets
CSV
Use CSV when you need the underlying data in a simple, widely supported format.
CSV is useful for:
- Importing data into another system
- Working with large datasets
- Processing data with other tools
- Moving structured data between applications
Tip: Use PDF for sharing, Excel for further analysis, and CSV when you need to transfer or process the underlying data.

Troubleshooting
The export is not generated
Check that the report has finished generating and try exporting it again.
If the problem persists, refresh the page and retry the export.
The exported file looks different from the report
Some formatting may vary depending on the export format. For a presentation-ready version that preserves the report layout, use PDF.
The file is missing data
Check that the relevant sections and data were included in the report before exporting it. If necessary, customize the report and export it again.
I can't open the exported file
Make sure you are using an application that supports the selected format:
- PDF — PDF reader
- Excel — Microsoft Excel or another compatible spreadsheet application
- CSV — Spreadsheet or data-processing application
If the file still cannot be opened, try generating the export again.
Tips and Best Practices
- Choose the format based on your goal. Use PDF for sharing, Excel for analysis, and CSV for data transfer.
- Review before exporting. Check the report content and formatting before creating the final file.
- Use PDF for external sharing. This helps preserve the report's intended layout.
- Customize first. Add notes, sections, or other relevant context before exporting.
- Keep exported files secure. Reports may contain sensitive financial or business information.
