Report Generator lets you turn your business data into professional reports in seconds.
You can choose what to include in your report, customize its size, tone, and language, and let AI analyze your data based on your preferences.
Reports can be used to present insights to customers, management, colleagues, or other stakeholders.
Prerequisites
Before creating a report, make sure you:
- Have an active ELECTE workspace
- Have connected your data source
- Have enough data available for the analysis you want to include
Create a Report
1. Open Report Generator
Sign in to your account and select Reports from the sidebar.
2. Select What to Include
Choose the information you want to include in your report.
Depending on your workspace and available data, you may be able to include:
- Financial data
- Sales forecast
- Customers
- Marketing
- Products
- AI Analysis
Select the sections that are relevant to your report.
3. Customize Your Report
Adjust the report settings based on your audience and requirements.
You can customize:
- Size — Choose how detailed the report should be.
- Tone — Select the tone that best fits your audience.
- Language — Choose the language for the generated report.
Review your selections and click Generate Report.
Review Your Report
Once the report is ready, you can open it from the Report Generator.
Review the available sections, such as the summary and analysis, and make changes if needed.
To customize your report, follow these steps:
- Open the report you want to edit.
- Click Customize Report.
- Update the Title or Summary, if needed.
- Add notes to existing sections.
- Add custom sections.
- Click Save Changes to apply your changes.
Tips and Best Practices
- Choose sections based on your audience. A management report may require different information than a customer-facing report.
- Keep the report focused. Include the metrics and analysis that support the purpose of your report.
- Choose the right tone. Match the tone to the people who will read the report.
- Add context where needed. Use notes or custom sections to explain specific findings.
