Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what this website stores on your device, why, and the choices you have. It is deliberately short: the site serves no advertising, and the list of tools it uses is small.
The consent banner
On your first visit, a consent banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. The banner is a self-hosted, open-source component; your choice is saved in your browser so we do not ask again on every page. Nothing that requires consent is loaded before you give it, and you can review, change, or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie preference center linked in the footer of every page.
Analytics with consent — Google Analytics 4
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. GA4 sets cookies (for example "_ga" and "_ga_*", which distinguish visitors and expire after up to 13 months). We use Google Consent Mode v2 with every signal denied by default: if you decline, or before you choose, GA4 is not loaded and nothing is sent to Google.
Analytics without cookies — Plausible
We also measure aggregate traffic with a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics. Plausible uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device; it collects no personal identifiers and cannot follow you across websites. Because it does not require consent, it runs outside the banner — we list it here for transparency.
Functional storage
Two kinds of settings are kept in your browser's localStorage (not cookies): your consent choice itself, and the accessibility preferences you can set from the footer panel (text size, contrast, reduced motion). These values stay on your device and are never transmitted to us.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies. No social-media tracking pixels. No third-party embeds that set cookies before you interact with them.
Managing cookies in your browser
Independently of our preference center, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect the consent banner's memory of your choice.
For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy. If a tool listed here changes, this page is updated with the change.
