The Pathway

Before founding ELECTE, I spent more than a decade in technology systems, working across the business — from finance and people to contracts, customers, and technical operations — before eventually becoming CEO. Working across those functions taught me to see a company as a system rather than a collection of departments, and to understand how decisions in one part of the business affect everything else. During that period, the company was recognised among Italy’s 300 fastest-growing businesses in the Campioni della Crescita ranking. As CEO, I went on to lead further growth, from €13.9M to €19.4M in revenue. As the problems I was solving became more complex, technology increasingly became part of the answer — and eventually, that meant building the tools myself. I didn't come to software from software; I came to it from running businesses and repeatedly encountering problems that software could solve. That progression shaped how I think about technology today: not as an end in itself, but as infrastructure for better decisions.

I founded ELECTE in Milan in 2023 to bring that approach to artificial intelligence. The idea was straightforward: smaller companies generate valuable data, but rarely have the teams, infrastructure, or budgets available to large enterprises. ELECTE builds AI-powered analytics and forecasting so smaller businesses can make better decisions without enterprise-scale data teams.

Today, ELECTE serves more than 500 companies across 40+ countries, with 80% of revenue coming from international markets. Alongside building the company, I publish AI Frontiers, ELECTE’s newsletter and podcast on AI, economics, regulation, and market power, examining the technology, economics, regulation, and power structures shaping AI. ELECTE’s publishing ecosystem reaches a community of more than 100,000 subscribers.
